DescriptionLibbey no. 478 whiskey jug. Cut with the Plain Flute pattern: eight plain flutes. Plain base slightly concave, except around edge, ground and polished. Outside of handle cut with two flutes; top cut with flat thumbpiece. Cut with eight plain flutes. Shank ground and polished to fit jug throat.
