DescriptionDeep sapphire-blue. Blown in a full-size two-part mold (McKearin G.I-42) that formed body and base. On the obverse: a profile bust of George Washington in classical dress. On the reverse: a profile bust of Zachary Taylor in uniform. There is a narrow basal ring around the edge of the base, which is plain except for a faint moldmark and a heavy, very rough, open pontil mark.
