Label Text:Only two of the vases on this page of Lalique’s designs were actually produced: the top left vase with birds and grapes and the vase in the middle with the coffered stem. A note above the top vase describes the bird and grape decoration as “very prominent.” The bird vase was pressed in a three-part mold and came in clear glass with opalescent patina or in yellow or “smoke”-colored glass. The stemmed vase had a mold-blown bowl in clear glass and a mold-pressed opalescent stem. Both designs were first made in 1927.
