Label Text:Painter-printmaker Yvonne Jacquette is best known for her aerial views of cities at night. The scene depicted here is of 33rd Street and 8th Avenue in New York City, possibly viewed from the Empire State Building. On the left side of the print in the lower corner is the Hotel Pennsylvania and above, with the distinctive curving façade, is the world famous arena Madison Square Garden.
