Pierre Nolin has been described as both goldsmith and engraver. He is best known for his heraldic and ornamental prints. This particular design, with an eye for a ribbon or chain and hanging jewels, appears to be for a pendant; however, the prominence of the alphabet suggests a bookplate design.
