Label Text:A later impression from a plate actually engraved by Mantegna, this was his last print and is often considered his most beautiful. In earlier impressions there is a greater contrast between the dark areas and the lighter highlights. He never signed his prints, as his style was so distinctive and well known at the time that he considered it unnecessary.
