Howard Bond is one of the best American photographers currently working in the tradition of Ansel Adams and Minor White. It is an added bonus that this nationally known artist is from northwest Ohio. He attended Bowling Green State University and the University of Michigan, graduating with an MA in Music and an MS in Mathematics. He is a recipient of a Michigan Council for the Art Creative Artist Grant and his photographs are included in numerous public and private collections, including the Art Institute of Chicago; the Library of Congress; the National Gallery of Art; and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
