Label Text:Hiroshi Yoshida loved to travel. His trips took him all throughout Japan as well as to Europe, Africa, India, and the United States. From December 1923 to August 1924, Yoshida took his third trip to the United States, during which he made oil paintings of famous natural sites. He turned these paintings into a series of woodblock prints, like this view of the majestic Mount Rainier in Washington.
