DescriptionA Victorian miniature house containing two floors furnished with various "doll house" pieces of furniture, household objects, and framed art reproductions. The house is constructed of wood, cloth, plastic, and several photomechanical reproductions of works of art, including Shonibare’s own "Diary of a Victorian Dandy: 14.00 hours" [C-type print, series of five, 1998] and his installation based on Jean-Honoré Fragonard’s painting of "The Swing."
