Label Text:Dada poet Tristan Tzara wrote this poem in 1945 when he was in a psychiatric hospital in Saint-Alban. This is an outstanding example of a successful collaboration between colorful images and random verse. The 72 lithographs by Joan Miró were printed over a two-year period, from 1948 to 1950. The artist also designed the collage and case enclosing the book.
