Label TextAntike Legenden (Classical Legends) is a late-career graphic portfolio by German Expressionist Lovis Corinth, comprising twelve drypoint etchings depicting scenes from Greek mythology. The series includes subjects such as The Judgment of Paris, The Abduction of Helen, Orpheus and Eurydice, and The Forge of Vulcan. Initiated in 1918 at the suggestion of art historian Julius Meier-Graefe, the project was completed and published in 1920.
