Label Text:This collection of tales by Comte Antoine Hamilton were once in the private library of Napoleon. On the title page of Volume 1 is the red library stamp of Napoleon "Empereur et Roi." These were bequeathed to his son, who lived only slightly more than a decade after Napoleon's death.
