Label Text:Perry learned photography from Maurice Tabard, who freely experimented with modern photography techniques. To illustrate the poetry and prose of BANALITE, Perry, assisted by Fabian Loris, used such techniques as photcmontages, photograms, negative prints and solarization. While such techniques served to underscore a surreal mood, even Parry's straight photographic illustrations had an eerie, dreamlike quality.
