This was the most elaborate work printed in Greek during the fifteenth Century. The dictionary was compiled by Suidas (active about 970), and besides definitions of words, it included accounts of ancient authors (whose works do not otherwise survive).

The binding is by Roger Payne (1738-1797), the most accomplished of the eighteenth bookbinders.
